Shaker Mill Inn

The Shaker Mill Inn was glorious. I thought that it would be relatively standard, run-of-the-mill stay on our way home and it was anything but that. The extra attention to details was spectacular. It is a pet friendly location...and there were hooks by the door for leashes. The blackout blinds covered not just the windows, but also the stained glass in the room door. Boot/shoe scrapers after a day in the woods. The breakfast provided was a feast of options and tastes. There was even a small sewing kit in the closet...along with an emergency flashlight! And the grounds were lovely. Quiet nooks and corners to sit and enjoy being outside with the bunnies and birds. Everywhere you looked you saw another detail that showed the depth of care and commitment that the owners and staff have. I would love to go back (and probably will) to stay longer. It was an unexpected and truly outstanding treat to stay there.

we only spent one night at the Inn. Wish we had more time to stay longer. We both enjoyed everything about our stay. The room was meticulous and welcoming. It had absolutely everything we needed ......the breakfast choices were delicious and just enough and it was so enjoyable being able to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in our room without having to go out for breakfast. We would 100% recommend this Inn while visiting Stockbridge. The location is perfect and quiet !! Close to any of the wonderful shops, restaurants etc.......

The property is lovely, the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast idea of refilling your fridge each morning rather than dining in a dining room fit our needs just fine as it allowed flexibility as to timing of meals and also left some food for later in the day after returning from exploring the area.

Unbelievable clean, beautiful, and outstanding place. I am very particular re cleanliness in hotel rooms so I was amazed by this outstanding suite we got. Absolutely 💯 lovely greenery around. Big windows. Kitchenette equipped with numerous products one wouldn't expect at all in a B/B. In the hallway there is a big dvd library, box games and books. We ride 🏍 it was raining all day and night, the morning we left, there were 4 towels on the bike 🏍 just for drying it before we leave!

The inn-keepers were friendly and welcoming. They granted our every request with a smile. The breakfast was prepared and individually wrapped so all we had to do was warm up in microwave, and enjoy! Room was well equipped.
